Its surely a good niche, BUT are you talking about local hotel sites or international hotel sites or national level ?
you need to hook it up to affiliate programs in the niche, so hotel and flight affiliate programs and also you need to pump in a decent amount of unique content into your blog, once you do that then you can make quite a bit of money from the hotel sites

I haven't experienced having that niche blog, but I think it'll hit off in today's market. Vacation promo, deals and discounts are the in things today and that niche caters to this interest.
This is a very competitive niche. If you're considering it, I would create individual websites for each city you are trying to target and market each website for that particular city, rather than putting up one general "travel deals" type site.
i worked for a site with this type of topic. the main keyword was Dubai 5 star hotels. and it was really good.
Yes, it is one of the best niche but the competition is high too You gotta make a very good site and work out hard on promoting/marketing it before you can earn good money
This niche is awesome.... Specially on vacation times its a BOOM ! Try yourself to get affiliated with some Hotel sites...... They pay around $50-$100 for each registration or somethinG !

errrmmm.... why? Do you have something to offer in return? Can you offer any valueable services? or do you think that someone here will just give you something because you asked for it. I think any niche can be made profitable, people always need a place to stay when they are in a foreign place, so depending on how you market the site even with offline techniques it can be pretty profitable
it does make money but don't expect too much yet. and make it as your passion not just a money making website
You have to do the niche research. I promise that if you search you will uncover riches. The point is, as others have said, if this were all about handouts then this would be an online soup kitchen. Go find it, but know that you can succeed....and no, unfortunately, no one is going to just give it to you.
it is really a good niche topic. but you need to fight hard to get on top. there are a lot niche sites relating it. if you research then you will find many good niche which have good number of earning too. specially tourism sites use this topic.
