i've always had backlink from my fb profile to my websites but must hear what you guys think about this, does it really matter having back links from facebook?
I don't think that facebook give backlinks, but posting on facebook is very good as it gives lots of traffic....
i also don't think about these kinds of backlinks however when you share content on facebook with link it automatically make backlink for your website and it is always no-follow link, but these no-follow links have their importance very much.
I couldn't under what would be the benefit of a no follow link, instead of traffic, I think they can just give us traffic nothing else.. to improve our page rank...

you can get it. Create facebook notes and give a some link from your site. taraa, you get backlink from facebook but nofollow.

Yes, you do get backlink from facebook... I use to post / share my articles and blog posts with facebook and all these backlinks are dofollow. Since, facebook is password protected, so probably Google cannot crawl those backlinks... But you do get credit for link in public content.
