interesting point of view, but if I think of my friends who use it, I can barely name one, although I don't really know why, because it offers exactly the same features as competitor fb

personally speaking, I think Google plus will be successful regardless. It has a ton of useful features, and it's also good to incorporate with your online business structure. Additionally, Google plus helps anyone to reach potential new customers, as well as build solid meaningful relationships on the World Wide Web. As I still haven't learned everything about optimizing a Google plus business page, I look forward to learning more about that wonderful social network momentarily :)

Google+ has better features and a simpler display. so it may be without Google's name could be a contenderfacebook.

G+ will probably never become so popular as Facebook, but it is useful for business. I once ordered Plus one votes for one of my sites and SE traffic increased about 20%, seems like it was not by accident.

The real question is that, is Google+ even popular? :)
I have not joined it and I know most of my friends aren't, the only thing I can see to entice me now is to help Google rankings a bit. just that

I agree with everyone that Google+ would not have been able to achieve the scale it did (10m+) in a few weeks without Google behind it. It's more than just Google+ though - when you add up all of the individual components like the +1 button, Circles, and Hangouts it provided individual launching points within Google+ to assist it's success. Google came right out of the gate when they announced Google+ and (in my opinion) took a shot a Facebook by saying the following in their introductory blog post:

+Circles: share what matters, with the people who matter most
Not all relationships are created equal. So in life we share one thing with college buddies, another with parents, and almost nothing with our boss. The problem is that today’s online services turn friendship into fast food—wrapping everyone in “friend” paper—and sharing really suffers:
    • It’s sloppy. We only want to connect with certain people at certain times, but online we hear from everyone all the time.
    • It’s scary. Every online conversation (with over 100 “friends”) is a public performance, so we often share less because of stage fright.
    • It’s insensitive. We all define “friend” and “family” differently—in our own way, on our own terms—but we lose this nuance online.
The service initially caught on with the tech crowd as an alternative to other social networks due to the Circles and some of the various privacy mishaps by Facebook.

Overall, I think Google+ has alot of upside. I use Facebook and Google+ for different things mainly. When I want to connect with some of my friends, I go to Facebook. When I want the latest news from professional colleagues and content curation - I go to Google+.

That's why. It offers nothing new (something that could worth it to move)

In fact I deleted my Google+ profile few hours ago. It gave me nothing, neither helped in internet marketing nor connecting with people I already know.
