Why do people think it's so cheap to get a completely custom Wordpress Template made? I had a guy message me and literally scold me because he thought $150 for a wordpress template was far too high. IT IS NOT EASY OR FAST TO CREATE ANY CUSTOM PHP DOCUMENT! STOP BEING CHEAP, OR DO NOT TRY TO RUN A BUSINESS! RUNNING ANY BUSINESS IS NOT CHEAP! IT REQUIRES A LOT OF WORK! Then you get into the w3c Standards which wordpresses standards simply EXTEND. Then after doing ALL OF THAT, you have to go through and do all of this ---> http://codex.wordpress.org/I18n_for_WordPress_Developers Then after ALL THAT, you have to test and alter the theme for EVERY SINGLE POPULAR WEB BROWSER, Firefox (old and new), Safari (Old and new), Internet Explorer (from version 6 and up.), Opera (old and new), and all major Operating systems. Then after testing and verifying ALL OF THE ABOVE, you have to test it with Wordpress Installs from 2.0 to 3+. NO CUSTOM WORDPRESS THEME SHOULD EVER COST LESS THAN $150 IF IT IS BEING BUILT CORRECTLY!.....EVER!...PERIOD.
All you get for this price is a pirate premium theme and few customizations. After 1 r 2 mails, the so called 'designer + programmer' would abscond leaving you no where.
Yes guys, you are right, a lot people think that create Wordpress ecommerce website it is very easy. But really creation WP website takes the same time as many other, that why I advice you guys to raise your budget. If you raise it, be free to conntact me, I am ready to start any time.
$50 USD is just too low to get a complete WordPress theme. You need to raise the budget. Quality comes with Quantity and if you want a reasonable WordPress site then you need to give realistic figures. I can help you make one for $300. Portfolio and Samples can be given upon request.
I Agree in 100%. But, people will still working for nothing. That's why the good programmers, can't find any work for normal money. This is almost impossible to work as freelancer for $30+ per hour as programmers in REAL companies... Most of freelancers are working for $10, and I really hate that... But to be honest, we can't do anything. PHP / CSS / x(HTML) are quite simple programming languages ( ofc. for simple things), and even people who have only month experience are working as freelancers, and we can't get any reasonable work...
