    According to this article Google makes nearly all their money from advertising 97%, when you check out the cost of some of these keywords you can see why they earn so much.

    Here are the Top 5 Keywords:

    1. Insurance - $54.91 per click
    2. Loans - $44.28 per click
    3. Mortgage - $47.12 per click
    4. Attorney - $47.07 per click
    5. Credit - $36.06 per click

    I guess its a free market and when you want to advertise at the top the only way is to bid higher than your rival, but these prices are crazy!

    Does Google really care about convertion? I don't think they give two hoots.

    I saw a landing page that was developed with the support of their team, and to say it was cr** is an understatement. I could do better in Word.

    that's the thing, blog or websites working on these key word has got very high page rank and the competition is very high with this key word. seems lucrative but tough competition is out there.

    Who is actually getting paid this amount for these keywords? Only a selected few. Not all of us. I got a click last week for one of my keywords that paid me $2.25...Lol...I'll take it...
