Why people use blog commenting for SEO? We are not sure either our comment is going to be approve or not. Firstly, its very difficult to find do follow blogs and once you find it, approval of your comment is another difficult and nearly impossible task.
Most of the comments to my blogs are spam or not relative to the post or the blog itself. Consequently, 99% of comments are deleted. Neil

What if comment is relative but has a link in it. Whenever I comment I put a relevant comment but I include my link. Would you accept that type of comment?

If it is not spammy comments blog commenting can give you good backlinks and evantually some good traffic to your website. The wrong thing to do is to buy cheap backlinks. They use auto submission programs for blogs and they just duplicate the content and spam. This can get you get banned from search engines
In my opinion Blog Commenting is when some readers check out some site, there he confirm any useful blog or article and in the end he simply leaves his feast back or expand thoughts on that blog. It is better to expand feedback on high PR websites with do-follow websites to get the better situation in google optimization. It becomes valuable in getting inbound links.
From a purely SEO point of view - Blog posts are better because they have a better chance of being do-follow. Most blog comments are set to no-follow
@ opprotunist 86 It is a good question to ask that whether people accept the links that are irrelevant to the post... But if you are searching for the relevant post to your niche, it is the most possible relevant link that is attached..!!
