I am planning to put my WP blog on a great hosting service.
Presently i am on shared server, and because of that website is slow, i am expecting a huge traffic (20k-30k)/month, as planning to go for paid advertisement.
so before that i want to make sure website runs good. my blog is content oriented, no videos, or big images.

i have come across to these
    GoDaddy.com:
    Ultimate 4th Generation Hosting
    Unlimited Websites, Space & Bandwidth

    HostGator
    Business Plan
    UNLIMITED Domains
    UNLIMITED Disk Space
    UNLIMITED Bandwidth
    FREE Private SSL & IP
    FREE Toll Free Number

So what you expert guys suggest, i'd highly appreciate that.

you seem to have good info about hostgator,
do you know if they do have 302 redirect problem, because godaddy has got presently, and google index is killing me on that.

    Hi,

I'm not newbie on hosting industry. After review many hosting provider, I think HostGator is stronger more than JustHost, iPage or Fatcow. If your site got many guest and visitors, let's go upgrade with VPS or dedicated servers.

Also, I vote for them by fast support.

As people know those top lists don't mean anything. All it shows is who is paying the advertising dollars or which reseller is trying to push their services. I would never take much stock in a top list. As for those two being the top and largest in the industry. Hmmm, yea don't think so. Large companies yes but not the biggest in hosting industry.

Godaddy is a domain name registrar, use them for that and take your hosting to a company that specializes in hosting and not domain names.

I just feel you came into this post limiting yourself as if you have already chosen your host to talk about.

    Best of Luck

For me too, hostgator better than Godaddy, especially for their customer support. But there are also good hosts which you may be overlooking. Some companies just go by the names as most affiliate people will preach about them. Search around. Other hosting companies are also doing good. You can choose hostagor for customer support, especially for their chat support.

If you've got to choose between HG and GD, then HG wins hands down. GD's nowhere near HG's level of expertise in the hosting business.

Hostgator have good reputation and best in service only thing is that they do not intimate or warn the renewal date of the domain, you should remember it yourself, most of my friends practice buying domains in godaddy and hosting them in hostgator.

I have currently a GoDaddy host account. I am just not satisfied with their service. I found my sites not showing several times and slower in most of the time. I am going to migrate to HostGator as soon as my hosting period ends with GoDaddy.
