Sorry, but article marketing is not the same thing as bum marketing. It isn't even close! You are mistaking proper article marketing with a form of marketing done through the article directories. Marketing through the article directories is not effective, it does not generate good quality traffic or even a good volume of traffic, and the back links you get from an article directory are close to useless.

I think you need a mix of both article marketing and regular buying links to be successful...google likes a mix of types of link in your profile.
