Suggestion Question regarding Premium Membership

I want to become premium member.

Have a question regarding the following benefit:

"For sale threads started in Buy/Sell/Trade will stick at the top for 2 hours after created and 2 hours when sale is ending"

Question: If I am selling any service in Buy/sell/trader, and have started a WTS thread, and I didn't choose "auction system" to sell my services, does my thread still stick at the top for 2 hrs....

Like, if I am selling articles and posted a WTS thread without choose "Auction and bid system".

Just posted articles details and price etc.

    Please let me know

No, it does not depend on which format you are selling. It can be auction style, BIN or even none of them.
But, It must be a WTS thread. you must choose WTS from the prefix list. if you choose WTB or WTT or none then it will not be sticky or Bold.

Thanks for your replies but how will this work- "2 hours when sale is ending"; when I won't choose "Auction system" because without auction, how one can know when the sale is ending?

If you want an end date choose the auction system. If its a normal sales thread you can bump the thread as a premium member to get more exposure to the listing.

I am asking in relation to sticking. For how long(and at what point of time) will they stick my thread when I don't choose auction system.

If it has an end date ( or auto end 7 days after last bid recieved) then you will get a closing auction sticky too, else new sales thread sticky is guaranteed anyways.
    It helps?

If there is no exact end date, it couldn't know when the last 2 hours is, so it couldn't pin your thread.

Remember, if you offer services and choose auction styles and open a new thread once the auction is done you could attract infractions for dupe threads.

It means if I don't choose "Auction system", my sales thread will stick for only first 2 hrs(as the system couldn't know the last 2 hrs) Am I right?

Right... if you don't choose an auction, at what point would YOU consider it to be 2 hours before it's ending? :)

Ok fine. In this case, can I get additional 2 hrs(4 hrs in total) at the start of the thread itself?

If possible, I would like to have 400 hours of sticky for my one thread in exchange of 100 other threads not being stickied at all.

Nope, but you can make it an auction when an end date, and then you get 2 hours at the end.

Look at the bottom right side of your first post in thread. If you are eligible to bump the thread, you will find the bump option just to the left of the edit option. Bump the thread first, then edit the thread as needed.
