Do people make money with twitter?

Obviously there is always someone out there or a guru who knows how to make money with anything but does the common person really make money with twitter? I don't really see how it can be done honestly. What kind of things do you advertise with twitter and how do you get targeted followers?

 

Sure people make money.
If you have a lot of followers you can sell sponsored tweets, but you can also tweet things like Amazon product links that you genuinely endorse.

may be they are because they can get maximum traffic by twitter the more traffic it will come they will get more contract in their business.

You just need to increase your tweets---

--by following as many people as possible
--tweet famous people
--hot news are always re-tweetable, go find it
--increase the tweets by using APIs(twittercounter)
--follow the new trends and apps.

But We can make enough money using Twitter. But I never trust make money with Twitter. I have 6000+ followers but I can make any $.. Anyone can suggest way

 

You can make money on twitter by promoting the link of your website. Like facebook, twitter also is a popular social media site that visited by most number of user around the world. There is a possibility that if you promote your website on twitter your website might increase the number of traffic.

 

Time + effort = success. It will take time to build followers but it can be worth it if they are real people.

 

It's not Twitter you make the money with. It's what you can add on to twitter to make it better which will make you the money. Just think of the person that invented TweetDeck. It was so good that Twitter just bought it and now the guy is a rich!

Yes, you can.
1. Build a legit account
2. Follow people(unfollow them after a week if they do not follow you back, except the famous accounts)
3. Update your twitter 3-4 times a day(no spam)
4. Repeat 2-3
5. After you build a nice pack of 10k+ followers try 1 tweet with an aff link. If it goes OK, post another aff link in 2-3 days, but keep them low per week like 2-3

People need to trust you before starting to hit your links. They will unfollow you if you post aff link every day and spam their wall.

Yes !!! this is really a great idea.We can earn much more by selling tweets.Like if we have thousand of followers on tweeter then we can sell tweets for some bucks.

Without doubt building up followers is what you should focus on first, then slowly but surely the $$$'s will come. Make sure you try and engage visitors to your website with various tools available to integrate Twitter and other social networking sites.
