1st step is to research products and find one worth promoting, 2nd step is to do kw research to help chose a domain name, step 3 is to write or buy articles that are related to the product, step 4 is making a video about the product that leads to your aff link on youtube, step 5 is to either do manual article directory link building, (or outsource seo). Find a profitable niche that interests you - ideally one with products that have good commission and ideally recurring income (e.g. membership sites, coaching courses etc.) 2. Create or acquire a 'compelling offer' to get people onto your list - e.g. ebook, video course etc. - market this on a well designed Squeeze Page, ideally using something like Optimize Press (Wordpress theme) to optimise conversion - pay attention to your 'copy' - headline, advertising blurb 3. Build your list by establishing yourself in your niche via blog posts, forum posting, facebook etc. - providing links to your Squeeze page - use a good autoresponder such as Aweber and keep your list sweet with continued goodies via email (e.g. mini e-courses, informational content, videos etc.) 4. Market your product/s to your list (who are now more likely to buy from your because they've grown to know and trust you!) All the best with your endeavours!
Read read read. I see a lot of great ideas being mentioned in other responses. I would add learn how to sale. The worst product could possibly out sale a better product simply based on packaging and wording.
