I upload a new website before 1 month and submit its xml sitemap through Google Webmaster Tool but Google indexed only 5 pages of my websites while the website have around 35-40 pages.

I don't know what is the problem behind this, Can anyone suggest me ?

    Thanks

It could take a time to index all pages, if you did all right, just wait a little bit

Most new websites don't immediately get indexed by Google. Patience is a thing you have to learn with search engines. Just because a sitemap is submitted to Google it doesn't mean they will index your site. I have seen sites take 90 days before the pages show up in the SERPs. You just have to wait and be patient. Continue growing and adding content to your site and you'll surely get picked up by search engines for relevant searches.

I'm not sure what domain/URL you are referring to but I checked the two in your signature using the Google site operator to see how many pages were in the index:
    site:www touristplacesinindia info - 211 pages
    site:www yaatra org - 53 pages

Spaces in link should be replaced with .

I think, when we create site map for our website and insert the code through the Google web master tool, On those time,You should check the all do follow page, Because Google not index no follow page, And it's not index in one time.
