    Yes they are still effective but cannot be the only source of your link building strategy. Keep in mind High PR directories are great in helping you achieve a higher PR for your site. Do not leave out the directories with PR 0,1,2 because these directories are typically free and their page rank increases over time. So you can get a free link now before they become a PR 4+

    Yes! Directory Submission is helpful for any website. Actually Social Bookmarking & Directory Submission provide us a number of backlinks. This is a very easy way to get backlinks. Its more beneficial for new websites who have to make more backlinks. There is better something where have nothing.
