Very nice, but on google website it says that "keep your ad filter thin" something like that. So it just doesnt make any sence
That's my article Though I said so, in this case I have different opinion. Websites like 10-topsites, 8-top-sites, 12-topsites, etc are indeed MFA. They have no contents, and they definitely give no added value to your visitors (some even said that they hurt your credibility). So they are not included in the above category. I have asked 5 people in 5 different countries (US, UK, China, Australia, Brazil), and they all said that these websites paid them less than $0.1. I'm still writing an article about this.. I will let you know when it's finished.
Ok, Based on the averages on about 10 sites over October, versus the average for the last week on the same sites my PPC has roughly doubled. I give this the thumbs up Notting
(posted in the other related thread, but thought might be helpful to do so here also) On a semi-related note, here's a writeup of mine showing how you can find out how often Google Adsense shows PSA's and from which URL's. If you filter MFA sites, you probably want to check to make sure you don't get more PSA's.
Awesome Stuff Man.. I mean It . I have increased my earnings fro 1 or 2 dollars to 9 to 10 dollars. But this is just the beginning... My site is getting more and more popular by the day and I think this wud work a great deal for me...The best part about my site is the perfect blending of my google ads with the background.... And this Competitive Ads Filter is a must recommend for everyone out there
How long are you guys waiting before you see an effect here? Two days here and really can't tell the difference yet. Although I've read people saying to wait a week or two before it fully takes effect is this the case for most of you?
For me it took just about 2 days. May be its luck that my actrual earnings went that high or it is that I got it because of thiese filters. I think its because of this filters as it cannot be such a drastic change without these filters. Use them man! They are definitely brilliant.
I like using the filter like this for the simple fact it gets rid of several annoying ads like "atv ringtone". Nobody is going to click on something like that. I just checked this site out to see what it would generate and was impressed. I have been doing this manually for quite some time now and had many of the url's it suggested already filtered. I do wish you could block more sites though. I run quite a few sites through one account and that limits me quite a bit.
i tried implementing it and my earnings drop by half after observing it a week. i can see better 'quality' ads are served on my site but dailyprofit vs quality ad, i choose the former ... i guess it's not for me, brilliant idea thou cheers
Ok, where am I missing to see which ad was click on? I'm at about $3-4 per day and would like to see that go up. Thanks! Juliann
once again valuable info is being shared amongst fellow DP'ers! wtg! This is the kind of thing that brings me back everyday. I too will test ABL out and hope for the best
Added these on the 5th and didn't see much difference but today I'm seeing a slight dip in earnings for one of my sites, down from .20+ a click to about .14, not sure if it's just today or because of the filtering but after 2 more days I will make up my mind.
So it's very simple, just make 200+ MFA sites and you are done -_- The problem is that if you can identify high paying ads and block unlimited sites then advertisers will lower their bids and it will be the same.
That's what I was thinking too...as you remove ad inventory (MFA's) the pricing for the other advertisers should technically drop no?
Implemented this suggestion... my click thru rate increased but my earnings per click and overall payout dropped significantly... like a 95% decrease! Perhaps this method used to be effective, but with the new adwords policy of making MFA sites have to bid more to actually get placements, it may not be so effective anymore. I'm removing my MFA ad filters tonight!
This adwords/adsense change didn't affect me much. My earnings are still high (thank God). We'll see if it changes (up/down) in next few weeks...
