    even if its implemented, I think you can split the payment and make sure it does not exceed more than $500 per transaction.

    I think we cannot receive more that $500 at one go. We should split it into parts and proceed. It's a big headache if anyone needs to send high amount such as $10k.

    People usually dont do transactions more than or equal to 10K$ with Paypal much :)

    I received my recent payment to Paypal on 2nd Sep, its $630 without any issue.
    The same transferred to my IDBI bank as well.

    You seem from United States. The $500 rule applies only to Indian PayPal accounts.

    Paypal just auto withdrew 0.07$ to my bank. This is not a good indication, coz I think $500 limit will be applied soon enough. (or maybe it's already there?)

    ^ The transaction limit for PayPal India is 3000USD now. Also, they are not auto-withdrawing the funds to our bank accounts.
    Hope they let us use the balance for online purchase as well.
