    I just got a new job in web marketing, which involves about 8 solid hours of computer use. They give me an hour's worth of break time, but I use maybe a third of that, mostly to go to the bathroom or refill my water bottle. My previous two jobs prior to this one also were entirely computer-based.

    I'm pretty addicted to the electronic glow. When I come home, I use for recreational purposes (reading, social media, writing, personal organization), because at work I'm in an open area with the window to my manager's office behind me, and you can't really get away with that. Fortunately, I wouldn't say that I'm wasting time on computers. I like to read stuff that expands my knowledge/makes me think, and I write fiction and music with computers, and I'm hoping those avenues will lead somewhere once I've got my skills to a satisfactory level. I quit playing computer games ten years ago precisely because I realized they never go anywhere beyond their own fictional universe.
