My keyword has risen to #18 for a few days to a week, but when I woke up today, it suddenly went to #37. Why the sudden drop? I have been maintaining link building for the past week, instead of dropping it is suppose to be getting better. is this normal?
This can happen to new sites, so if your site is new, then expect its rankings to fluctuate for next 6 months or so. If your site has been around for a year or so, then check your backlinks. Some of the sites you are linking to probably went down in rank, thus affecting your site. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
I experienced this issue when my repair site went online at first i was coming in at 6th place and then out of no where I'm on page 3. But after a while i got it up to 4th place.(the keyword targeted was very specific to an area)
if you set some keywords,when someone else enter the keywords ,it may search your web ,but your ranking may go ahead and the keywords will help your ranking .
It absolute a normal phenomenon. Usually it happens to a new site. nothing tp worry about. just stick to your plans, it will be okay.
