I have thousands of PLR articles in English, if i translate them in to my language and make some changes will they be unique in Google?
I mean that would be much cheaper than buying articles.

Yep, if you are translating them to any other language, it will considered as an unique content. I dont know where you plan to post them.. but if you could share the places, even we would be able to take a little advantage of it!

You can't translate from English to another language literally so that will not be viewed as duplicate content. Make sure to re-write the PLR as well and not just translate it over. You probably will have to re-write it anyway since you need to optimize the article for your target keyword.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

If you translate ir manually, i mean not using software, then it probably can be unique. By the way, the market price for translation is actually more expensive than article writing. Go ahead if you can translate it yourself

Translated articles are not actuallu unique because google uses translators for every page and anyone translating the page can get duplicate content. It is advised to rewrite them after translation. You could hire a professional team of translators for the job. I hired translation excellence and they do wonderful job in a quick turn around time. Try them.

You can go to oDesk, eLance or Freelancer.com. There are individuals there that offer translation services.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

If you do this the translation would be terrible.

But to answer the OP's question, yes it would be considered unique.

Don't talk if you don't know what you are talking about  Translating content is a perfectly legitimate business practice.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's best to have articles translated by an individual instead of Google Translate because Google translates word for word. When translating from a foreign language, you need to translate the thought and apply correct grammar. This is something Google Translate can't do as this application and similar others translate word for word.
