Do a Proper Google analytics before going to implement anything. Check the datres in which you were getting high traffic. Check the sources of traffic(Organic, Others(FeceBook, Twitter, social book marking web sites)) and make sure that you did not miss any of this traffic sources these days. If the Organic Search(Search from Google) has decreased means you have lost of some of your top keywords from Google or it might be due to missing of pages from Google SERP. check the pages went to Google sandbox, check you have duplicate pages or meta tags.....
