is this google dance?

So i have one site been building links consistently,

most links are on high pr pages and high pr domains

so my site was page 3 for main keyword,, now it went to page 40

site is over 120 days old

can anyone tell what it is?

i have not done any kind of profile links blast or blog comments blast, most links are manual links coming from high pr sites

Maybe it`s that fabolous "Panda Update"?

Or it`s just small penalize for website because you built some bad links?

Or maybe just a normal dance in spots check you pos later in few days.

 

New sites often appear higher in SERPS so maybe its just in its natural place now

 

maybe it's the last panda update, try to slightly modify your on page seo, but keep buikding quality backlinks.

 

I agree with the others. I've seen a lot of people post on this forum that their sites went down in the rankings after a Panda update.

 

Try doing some more seo and also use the main keyword in you domain homepage and in meta tags. This will sure help you and as the rest said this is because of panda update.

 

Concentrate on Do follow work as well as post article and blog with unique content its really helpful to your website.

 

Apart from PR of the linked page, its relevancy matters.

If backlinks are not relevant to your website (fir instance you are an e-commerce store and you are getting backlinks from education website) Google will drop your backlinks.

High PR irrelevant links may shoot up your rankings, but ultimately your website will get credit for relevant links only.

I guess, this is the reason for the drop.

 

It must be panda + google dance.
Same happened with my 2 sites that were gaining huge traffic , now receiving only 10% of their search engine traffic.

panda update is just related to content , if you have site with duplicate content and you get penalized, thats called panda

i had all unique content+ quality links from high pr sites, some pr9 sites

so i had quality content+ quality links+ good on page seo,

 

Maybe you need to increase your backlink velocity.Yes i dont know if you know this but there is a seo factor that has to do with the velocity of you building backlinks to your website.You need to build backlinks faster than your oponents to get better ranking or like some members said it can be duplicate content that you have on your website.There are alot of factors that could cause you that problem.Follow everyones recommendation until you see what is the problem

 

I think that you have created so much of backlinks and google has caught it.
So it has done a penalty over your website.
Now go for white hat seo.

 

This done because of updation of google panda.

 

There was a minor panda update on Nov 18th that affected less than 1% of search results.
I know this because Matts Cutts retweeted about it.

 

Do some authority backlinking! It will definately help on your site's ranking and page rank.

 

You should continue building links. It sound like the Google dance.

 

in my opinion it's positive sign. now when it come back, it will stick. Keep doing what you were doing, Keep "talking" about it. the more you talk, the better it is.

 

It could be a penality, could be some of the links your site was on have been penalised, and you have inherited some of that penalty

 

anybody see the logic behind new sites appear higher on serps ?

 

Google has a given the Panda a reboot and the SERPs for the searches have been revisited as well. Also to make sure of what the condition of your site is, it is still fairly new and could be the victim of the Google dance. Build links from high PR sites.
