    Hi guys!

i am working on a german website. and i have articles that are in english language and i have converted it into german language via german client. Now the question is if i will submit both of them (same article in english language and conversion of that article in German language ) will they be treated as duplicate in Google ..

please suggest me .... thanks in advance

That's a good question. To me, I'll treat it as duplicated content even though it is at different language. Don't forget, Google has Google Translate :D

    Hi,
I think that same content in different language(s) is not treated as duplicate content by Google. I had the same question and the answer was on the official blog of google webmaster central.
    I hope that helps you.

I think no ( Not sure. this is my idea ).. Just search the site content with "".This is the Most easiest way to find duplicate content. If you search your German content like this method it doesn't show your English content in the google SERP.

hi Danielwood... that was really helpful but that was about the same website , but i am asking for different websites. But in that article it was strongly recommended that we should try to write unique content for every language.
but Thanks for help friend.......... :)

Different language but same content is treated as duplicate content for other domain, but in same domain its not duplicate.

I would recommend you to re write those english articles and then get them converted through some translation experts like translation excellence. Thank you

Depends. If you use auto translation tools such as google translator, it can be treated as duplicate content
However, manual translation from English to German, then it will considered as unique content
