I created this one website and write all the articles in my mothertounge, Malay language. It has been up for 2 years now and I never do any SEO on the site. I have many unique traffics come from the search engine every day, about 50 to 100 daily. And also the site have many FB fans, most of them are my friends and friend of theirs. Basically I build the site is for informational purpose. It is a health blog written in Malay languange. I write any health topics I want to write and any diseases that crosses my mind. There, I also write about health tips. All the writings are unique and is based on my 6 years of medical school. I only update the site whenever I wanted to but now planning to update the site at least once a month. I never do any SEO to the site. I want to ask for any expert and pro opinions on how to do SEO for local target. I want the website to be read by many people and get high rank. The website has once reached PR1 but now it has been down to PR0. I want to do the SEO by myself.
I'd suggest building backlinks, links from other websites, creating a sitemap and continuing to write quality medical related content.
Well there really is not a SEO on a local level, if you want SEO done on a local level that is more through flyers and what not. Although Google does not exclude any language even though Google is English based, there are forms of Google for each and every language. That being said to hit all the countries that speak your language all you have to do is achieve a high rank (normally done through backlinks) in the keyword you desire. Since you are a webmaster of a Health website find a keyword that is popularly searched that is related to health and make sure to use it frequently in your articles. Also make sure the backlinks that are done for your website use that keyword to link back to your website, does that make sense? Thanks
There's a question of backlinks building. Actually SEO is something that I've been familiar for years now. I also involve in some SEO projects of English websites. And the problem with my website is, it is in local language. Where should I build the backlinks? There are not many health local blogs I can find and most of the blogs here use free domains like blogspot, tumbler, and wordpress.com. I will learn how to do sitemap of my website. Thanks.
Thanks. I've been thinking of link building like the previous post stated but I met some problems which I've stated above too. And for the keyword, I don't know what keyword to use because the articles there have a variety of topics from how to wash hand tips to some specific diseases. So how can I choose the right keyword? I just think of these keyword; 'tips kesihatan anda', 'tips untuk kekal sihat', etc but they are general. In english they means, 'healthy tips', 'how to stay healthy'. While the articles talk about specific diseases, how can I implement the keywords? It is not suitable, right?
Do forum posting on that site that is your relavant. Search forum list on search engine.......it will be helpful......then start smm
i se you are good to english , seo is the same and use it to take high rank and more traffic, you can also use blog commenting from your language and it's very useful, if you can translate text from your language to different languages with google translate , it's perfect. if you want to use english in your page and not to appear in your original text . i recommend to use <noscript>English example</noscript> you can also use ALT i IMG tag to write english.
The best thing you do to join local language forums. It's a difficult one to good at on all languages (you can hire local professionals for this) but you really get good traffic and your keyword also get ranked fast in local search engines as compare to .com.
Today I will try doing manual backlinking for the website. I had choose one low competition keyword with 1,900 global monthly search and 1,600 local monthly search. My current SERP position in #109. Let see the results after I build the backlinks.
Is true that a site with different languages will help in SEO . But you personally also need to work on SEO , build backlink time to time . If no , your Page Rank and SERP is hard to improve and maintain due to high competitor in the market.
Local language sites site is only for people who knows that language only. So, target only the area where those people live. Suppose those people live in Australia only then optimize your site only in Google.com.au
you should use english keywords actually for SEO and create backlinks for the same or you can write english articles and get them translated into your language and post on different article site. You can use a profesional team of translators for this job.
