    I am currently using Google Analytics and it says that i dont have a lot of hits, but when I use Statcounter, it says i have alot of hits


    Who Is Right?

    Why are they different?

    What is the best Free Counter out there?

    I use analytics and awstats - I find the figures to be quite close. Analytics for me has better graphics but awstats is cool also.

    No 2 sites ever give the same stats even within Google - thats the frustrating thing about SEO. The only place I use for Analyics is Google Analytics. BTW can anyone recommend this book "Outsmarting Google: SEO Secrets to Winning New Business" at www.books-for-everyone.com

    i have a same problem too.i have a site with niche internet.money making methods, but analytic code installed correctly and but not showing any hits.that cant be i have good traffic

    Analytics is probably far better at detecting real visitors and not spam bots or whatever. Also it may slightly underestimate your traffic due to javascript blockers.

    I don't know guys I believe your code is not placed correct within your pages. Check your ID as well.. It's sounds impossible to me that google analytics does not show any hits if u already got any.. :( strange.

    I have also noticed this and I think GA doesn't count all the hits and it's not a good idea to use it on low traffic websites.

    Google Analytic results of links is in close approximation to the results.So I find better to use the Google Analytics then any other service to analyze my backlinks
