Do you have problem and difficulty in finding images for commercial use? (legally)

Hi all, i consider myself still new in the design industry. However, do you have the similar problem? When i come to the design of the client's project, i always have this problem. When i do a search for image in google, i always come to the image with copyrighted or the image for only personal use. On the other hand, i have found these two sites offer the image for commercial use. Hope it help others like me. They are listed as following:

2. http://www.cgtextures.com

Please share your opinion and experience on the this.

flickr.com gets you some good ones every now and then

 

but most pics on Flickr are protected by copyright((( that's frustrating

 

I've been using http://www.sxc.hu a lot so far, but not http://www.cgtextures.com and http://www.everystockphoto.com/. Thanks for sharing. For stock images, you might wanna also look around www.deviantart.com. The rules of usage are different though, depending on the owners.

The whole problem is to grasp the idea, if your usage of a certain pic or icon falls under the Terms of Use, or not, I mean, if its usage is truly commercial, or not. The risk isn't always justified, so I'd perhaps advice to take the simplest and the most common icons and pics and convert them into an advanced masterpiece - more time, of course, but at least you know it's totally yours

 

Well I would say if you're using the pictures for a template you could feature them on the sample of it, but when transferring the template to the buyer after it is sold you shouldn't include the photos that you don't have full rights to. Let the buyer know this of course though. Either that, take your own stock images, or purchase your own.
