I'm semrush lover. It's a quality keyword and competitor research online tool. And it's the cheapest in keywords researching sector.
I usuallu find out long-tails with it, which cannit create or even imagine myself, and peep my competitor keywords, and rarely it's marketing strategies with semrush special reports. They include bind database recently, I'm awaiting yahoo database, it should be cool to use one tool for promoting in all 3 major search engines.

There are several keyword tools you can use. The best free one for me is the Google Adwords tool. If you want a keyword research tool as well as SEO tool then try Traffic Travis.

I'm using my own script to generate long tail keywords. It based on Google Keywords Suggestion. You can try it at

I would suggest Traffic Travis for both keyword and seo analysis. For keyword alone Wordtracker, keyworddiscovery. For seo alone open site explorer, there are many other tools in the market but the tools that i mentioned are easy to use tool with good user interface.

For a free keyword tool, you gotta go with the Google Adwords keyword tool. The numbers are all rounded off, but at least it's from the horse's mouth.

For a paid tool, I'd be considering either Keyword Country or SEM Rush.
