hi friend , I give some idea.. First you should prefer good keyword which is opt for your niche regarding to your domain name with help of google keyword tool. Use the keyword to start to do SEO work like directory submission, profile building, social bookmarking, social network, article directory, etc. Within one month you will get good result of traffic for your website/blog..
