    Hi there, I am helping a friend to name a bar that he is trying to start. Here are his notes;

    It's a beer snob indie/hipster bar w live music. This is a beer bar for the beer snob types. No typical domistic beers, just a good selection of craft and import beers. The vibe is indie/hipster. Bold colors, wood trims, etc.

    I would like a ONE word bar name. I will accept names that start with "The" for a TWO word bar name. I will accept EXCEPTIONALLY FITTING THREE word bar names but no more than that. Here are some things to keep in mind;

    - I am creating a beer/wine package store called The Bottlery. If the bar name could work in conjunction, that would be cool.

    - The bar will have 10 +- beers on draft, none will be common. Only craft beers and unique imports

    - The vibe is indie/hipster

    - Bold colors

    - Should have a matching .com domain name if possible!

    We are going for an independent vibe. Indie rock. Hipster attitude. Bright and colorful rather than dark and industrial. I am open to any suggestions. I prefer something masculine. Please do not suggest the name "The Independent"

    Hi log0008. I appreciate the entry but what we're looking for should be a conceptual name rather than a general explanation of what the business is. For example, here are some great bar names that we like;

    - The Independent
    - The Firebird
    - The Refinery
    - New World
    - The Grackle

    I'm not sure if it would provide any inspiration, but I'm definitely fond of odd names. Like odd flower names or odd animal names. Just a thought.
