Logo Contest, 3 days $40 for Financial Research Business

Need a logo for my new financial research business, Company Name is VA Edge, Slogan "Financial Research has been Redefined"
Colors are maroon, light grey, can include some white/black.
image must be highly professional and flexible to fit on multi-media, websites, presentations etc.

All submissions must be 100% original and not contain ANY copyrighted images/work

Contest will end on Sunday November 13th at 8pm EST, winner must submit the image including psd file and will be paid upon receipt via Paypal.

I will do my best to keep up on feedback as submissions come in, looking forward to seeing some of your amazing work.

here is my

 

Sorry for the late feedback. We like what we see so far, a lot of different ideas. Currently we like number 5 the best and 6 is a problem close second, but we are worried about the tag line being small and the colors need to include maroon.

Number 1 the VA needs to be cleaner or more defined, the colors need to include maroon and we get the first part, but it needs to be defined and not over power the name.

Logodesign, a good approach, but we need the VA to be clearly defined. The colors in Edge are ok, but maybe a different script, thicker I think, and the tag line bigger.

Spike, it is good, but I can't tell how big it is. The picture needs to be a bit less busy and the letter design is going in the right direction, but it is too futuristic.

Great work and thank you all. Think money managers and executives as the audience. Keep it up!

Einstein: nice try but still not quite feeling it, I don’t like blue, try sticking with the colors maroon, light grey and see if you can come up with something new
Kain: looking better, I’m still not set on the font for VA Edge though
Logodesign: nice, I like the simplicity but not sure the relivance of the circle in front of the name
Uanl: mice job but it feels too futuristic to me and not on spot for financial research company
