All my sites dropped unexpectedly in Google SERP

    Hi guys,

On October 13th all my sites that are hosted on GoDaddy hosting suddenly dropped in Google SERP. For instance, one of my sites that ranked 2nd in Google SERP for 3 years suddenly jumped to 9th place. The rest of the sites also dropped and today only 1/3 of visitors that visited my sites prior to October 13th visit them today.

2 days ago I received an e-mail from Google Adsense saying that there were invalid clicks on my ads and they are banning me. I guess this is somehow related to my problems.

I tried to figure out what's wrong, but could not come to a reasonable conclusion. The only version I have is that maybe GoDaddy server was down for some time and that is why Google penalized me.

Have you ever faced such a situation? Could you advise me anything?

My friend, the 14th of October 2011 was a Google Panda Update. I am also with godaddy and my sites all got penalized & lost ranking on the 14th of October . I doubt this has much to do with Godaddy hosting and was more because of the PANDA update.

I agree with stv105. Site ranking change all the time after a Panda update. I've seen lots of posts on this forum where people have complained about their sites.

As for invalid clicks, are you using any traffic exchanges to get traffic? If so, AdSense does not allow things like that.

Sorry to hear you're having these issues.

I have GoDaddy as well and saw a 40% drop in traffic on october 13th. Could this be a hosting issue? Will getting a dedicated IP make a big difference?

This happened all because of the Panda Update of google. It has nothing to do with godaddy.
