After trying wampserver now i'm looking to try either xampp or ampps. Which of out these two is the better to use feature wise as well as stability wise?

Never heard of AMPPS before but it seems to be worth a try. What are the things ( features, etc. ) you are looking for anyway ?

I never heard AMMPS too, but XAMPP is very stable (I use it in Windows) and I also like the extensions they provide.

I prefer XAMPP, it's stable and is more cut down than others such as WAMPP or LAMPP, but it's all down to personal preference.

I see Vertigo getting popular. How does it compare to XAMPP or WAMP?

XAMPP is good and stable but I switched to WAMP just because of the multiple versions of apache/PHP/MYSQL. Very useful for a developer.

I've heard that installing php applications in ampps is lot easier than xampp as it automatically installs 200+ php applications that comes with it.
