Which item is best for selling on amazon

I target items over $100, but I also have a few sites aimed at much cheaper products such as health/beauty products + books. The reason being I can make at least 5-10 sales of $1-20 products for every $100+ product.
Those small $$ sales help push me quickly into the higher payout percentages i.e. 6.50% & 7.00%, which in turn means I make more on the $100+ sales.

 

I thinks books will be the best item for common.

 

You need to do some research and find a niche. You won't make money trying to sell something someone else may be selling already.

 

Can anyone suggest what kind of book is good for amazon selling?

 

I've found Amazon easier to convert than say Clickbank products. The way I approach choosing the product choice is just to let the research guide me. Have a browse through Amazon, get a general feel for what people are buying and then check with google keyword tool to see if it is actually worth pursueing. I don't think that you have to have a massive amount of search on each product to make it worth pursueing however. Just don't be lazy. Review a lot of different products. I also like a price higher than $100. You may want to consider lower priced items though especially if you are beginning so that you shift enough product to move up the commission structure.

For me, I think Baby products are bestsellers. You know, parents need the best for their children.

If you get targeted traffic, it is not harder to sell an expensive item than a cheap one.

Why not promote Kindle?

 

I would promote a variety of products at different prices. Smaller priced items will sell more and increase your rate.. larger priced items will get you the commissions

The thing is there are some very good items on Amazon that have a high CTR but if anyone has found one or advertises one of these themselves they are not going to tell you specifics because that would mean competition. Even the great affiliate marketers will show you what they do but they won't give you the links to their sites or mention products because before they know it there will be copycats or people advertising the same products causing their purchases to go down.

The best advice someone can give you is to advertise a niche that you know something about. Books, technology, fashion the list goes on. Just because it works for one person does not mean it will work for you. You need to have expertise or passion in something unless you want your readers to see through your content. Why waste time advertising laptops if you don't know the first thing about them? If a reader asks you a question are you going to be able to answer them or not?

Also look into ways to find good products to advertise. The pros won't tell you direct products but they will show you ways to do the research yourself.

In my opinion, I think small item is also good, due to the number of the item whcih will increase the commission fee %
