Okay so we are not going to get a Pagerank / backlink update this month?

I thought a lot of the "math wizards" predicted one about midway this month?

There is no "schedule" for it, so they cannot miss something that doesn't exist. No one really knows when it will happen, it could happen today for all anyone knows.

All anyone has been going on is the dates of the past updates.
It has now been 24 days since the last one began. The last time there was 23 days between updates.

Below is the record I have been keeping. BUT it is only a record of when they began. As Shawn stated, Google has no set schedule.

    Google BL/PR Update Dates

    (24 days - July 13th)
    June 22
    (23 days)
    May 31
(38 days) - G seems to have missed one here
    April 23
    (15 days)
    April 07
    (18 Days)
    March 20
(38 days) - G seems to have missed one here
    February 11
    (16 days)
    January 26
    (15 days)
    January 11
    (18 days)
    December 24
    (18 days)
    December 6
    (16 days)
    November 20

Traffic to my site from Google increased more then 10%. Can't say exactly but it always happens before next update. I need 1-2 days to say exactly if it's update or not

Thanks - I proof read the post and quickly checked my sites - they hadn't changed (we have attracted over 800 new links) and I was in a twist... but I used the ol faithful mcdar tool and nothing had changed.

    BTW - great tool, thanks.

That's great Zander, I do hope you are right. I do see some moderate movement in the serps and i hope this shuffling is a sign of an update to come.

The google bot has had more hits than ever on my site...the hits went up by about 100% from 147 to 307.

When this sort of thing happened with inkotomi and msnbot spiders I found that my position with msn and yahoo had kinda been updated (or at least my SERP had gone up and seemed to be based on my new site design rather than the SERP I was gettng from my holding page)

Yes, I have about 20,000 uniq visitors to my site coming everyday from Google. That's why I can tell somethimes when update happens.

So I have +3,000 visitors from Google today in comparison to 13th July. It can be something different then update but when it's update it looks like the same

Googlebot visits have nothing to do when the next update is though. You don't really think that Google does most of it's spidering right before an update do you? Spidering by Google is constant, 24/7.
