Do I need VPS to copy tables between my databases

    I have a shared hosting plan that I just found out won't allow me to copy tables between my own databases, since I can only get permissions for one of my databases at a time.

    They say I need to upgrade to their Virtual Private Server to do this (which would be 2.5 times as expensive as my current plan).

    Do all shared hosting plans do this? Given that I really need to copy tables between my databases, should I upgrade to VPS or look for a new shared hosting company that will allow me to do this?

    Which control panel do you have?

    I've website having multiple database for different purposes and I do access databases with one user itself.

    Anyways, if you wanna copy tables from one to another, then you can do export & import too.
