well the main problem with it now is that Facebook will only let you add so many users a week before they start marking you as spam and banning your IP. It can be done it just takes alot longer amount of time than it use to; and has become like Twitter marketing not as strongly suited for SEO as you woukld think.

 

I agree. Facebook is very effective on social marketing. It drives huge amount of traffic to your site, but it'll take time before you'll be able to add new friends. It is also better to promote your account so it is other people who will add you.

Certain things work very well with Facebook PPC. It's just hard to find the right offers to promote. It's definitely very different from Adwords/Yahoo/MSN.
