Tattoos and your reasons to have them

I do not have any Tattoo... and i do not like Tattoos

I do not have a single one. I think it is stupid to damage your body in such wait. Just do painting, temporal tatoos, but not the permanent ones.

 

The is probably the most outrageous and stupid "research" article I have ever read. If you sincerely believe that your the one with a mental disorder.

I've had teachers with tattoos in high-school, college. I've seen doctors with tattoos, business men who make LOTS of money with tattoos RIGHT there on their arms.

I have around 7-8 tattoos now and will get many more. They all represent something to me and are easily covered by clothes so I can have a job. Getting a tattoo on your face or neck/knuckles...yea that's stupid. But if you can easily conceal them I don't see it as "stupid" - they are a great way to permanently signify something big that happened in your life. A death of a loved one, life values, memory of military service, etc. It comes down to people who think tattoos are "stupid" just don't have the balls to get one, because they are scared of commitment.

I think tattoos are really cool...right now I have 2. I have a dragon near my waistline and a barbed wire heart with intertwined roses between my shoulder blades. I plan to have several more tattoos before I am done! The tattoo has to mean something special to you. I think that going to a tattoo shop and picking a picture off the wall is not what tattoos are really about. They are a special form of art that come to represent some part of you. For that reason I always design and draw my own tattoos.

I have seen a lot of people with the pentagram tattoo...it can be cool if done right. The only complaint I have heard from people I know is that they want to be able to cover their tattoos when necessary. It is probably wise to be able to cover them, but personally I really like tattoos and feel no desire to cover mine. In fact I want to get a tattoo that is easier to show off to people...anyway. Make sure you love it before you get it is my only advice!

 

Very well-said! I am right there with you. My tattoos signify something important in my life...I wouldn't just get a tattoo off the wall of a tattoo parlor for the heck of it. They are important to me and mean something real and special.

 

Cheers to that! I've done research before getting my pentagram tattoo, making sure of the meaning of the tattoo is what I really desire and which really means a lot to me.

I think it is a fashion statement. I just love it.

 

I think tats are cool. As to how they look, depends on the design and the personality of the wearer. I find badass people can pull them off very nicely, rockstars especially.

As for me - scared to death of needles - guess that answers why I don't have any
