SEO for 500 keywords

Hi,
I have a portal based on entertainment.
Its having a very good traffic.
average page views per months is about 150,000.
I want it to optimize it for 500 keywords.
Please anyone can guide me how to start or what strategy shall i follow .
I shall be obliged.

Why 500 keywords? Aim for about 10 or 15 keywords with good montly searches and try to rank for them. 500 is a enormous amount of keywords. Too much in my opinion

 

use 50 or more pages to optimize 500 keywords, don't try to optimize all 500 keywords for single page.

 

I hope you are you not trying to put those 500 keywords on one page, that not good. at all. Split them up to 5 keywords per pages. I know this sounds frustrating, but Google hates website with tons of keywords.

It has news ,fashion,movies etc. pages .

he is not trying 500 keyword on one page.. he is asking for good (top) 500 keywords for the site/content

 

500 key word. OMG

 

500 is a lot of keywords. Are you sure you want to chase that many at once? That's a lot of work to put on yourself... I would suggest starting with 20 MAX and then working from there.

 

if you are getting enough traffic, you should just optimize on page - SEO , different keywords for different pages of course. If You have good internal linking, your pages will pass good link juice between each other and you will rank for those 500 keywords.

Let me rub my eyes.. I have seen 500 keywords on this post to rank..Dude try to optimized your page with keywords but think about spam. And target 2 to 3 keywords for per page..

 

500 keywords is really something big number but here competition plays a huge role as if you have less competitive keywords you might win the race with few bookmarks and directory submission. Further if all those keywords are inter related to each other than you wouldn't have to optimize for all of them as Google search has become smart to show keyword searched along with synonyms of the keywords searched.

 

You can put until 5 keywords with no problem. Using 500 keywords may lead to spam. Pick some 15-20 top keywords for a single page and try optimizing using supportive keywords.

If you want to avoid getting spam report with lot of keyword in URLs (Matt Cutts in references).

 

I have about 300 product items with about 300 urls to SEO. Every urls with 1 keyword, i.e. product name. I am doing it everyday

 

500 keywords for 1 page is really too much. Split your keywords in pages
