Hi,

Each search engine have its own algorithm. There are certain rules and regulations which have to be followed by each website while promotion. The promotion of a website is done by using different techniques. The technique which follows search engine's rules and regulations come under white hat technique while those that doesn't follow such rules are Black hat techniques.

stick to white hat, its the only way to minimise the chance of a ban, and therefor a loss of earnings. In the long run, a site built on genuine seo techniques will produce results, rather than instant results with the likelyhood of being banned. Just my opinion.

 

Blackhat SEO techniques are ways of cheating to get ranking, eventually you'll get caught. Then you will be screwed. Put the work in and don't cheat the system, takes a bit longer but will pay off in the end.

I do agree on the different opinions of members here about black hat and white hat SEO. These techniques have been used by professionals to improve their visibility on the Internet. Black hat refers to "underground" technique to increase visibility through manipulating the different aspects of site that may affect its position in the results page. There will be a huge consequence when using this technique while white hat is in accordance to guidelines of search engine which can really take time.

 

Anything which involves manipulation of Search Engine may be considered as a black hat technique of Optimization apart from optimizing the website by following each and every guide link provided by Google web master may be considered as a White hat technique of Optimization

 

White Hat SEO is the ethical approach like organic link building, proper keyword density in your content. etc. Black Hat SEO is the unethical approach like mirror sites, and buying links among others.

 

definitely whitehat for me...its takes long term, but once it established its connection/links/index etc etc... it would stay there for a very very long time

To get quick and easy benefits People use Black hat, however It would lead you to the penalty from Search Engines. White hat is always better option for the long run.

 

Black Hat SEO should be stictly avoided ...If only you are really proffesional..

 

black hat seo is a methodology used by webmaster to get indexed faster...but that way is very dangerous for your webs site career because if only you get catched by search engines you will be banned and you will lose your ranking as well your traffic....
so be worry about cuz this is a wicked seo tricks way

Both achieve the same thing but Black hat SEO is unethical and leads to consequences usually ranking penalties.

Think of it in these terms:

Everyone in the real world wants to earn/get money and there are many ways to achieve that for example you can sell products and offer services or you can mug old ladies and rob, both get you money but which way would you prefer to achieve your goal?

Black hat is basically spamming, showing different content to different users (showing SE's better but spammy content to rank) etc

 

White Hat advice is generally summed up as creating content for users, not for search engines, and then make that content easily accessible to their spiders. It is more about user friendliness and accessibility rather than about tilting the odds seriously in one's favor.
