Is google +1 button worth to put in your website?

 

Yes Google +1 button is really worthy because it tells to google that you have a good number of likes on your content. It is a kind of vote from readers that your content is out class.
How ever Google also takes these minor things in to his notice.

I think at present it has little direct effect as your site will show high in ranking for +1 only if one of your +1 friend is searching. I probably contributes little, if any, to global searches.

I have put G+ button on my sites, I don't get much likes but it depends on traffic too. The more traffic you get the more people (who are on G+ already) will click on the button.

that's true... the traffic is more important, If we would just sit and wait for people to click on our +1 button that would never happened, you need to get traffic and have a great content too.

 

Completely agree. I even see my +1 posts appearing in the SERPs. Right now, I would suggest that you add +1 on your site. If it seems no effect, it still worth. Because THERE IS AN EFFECT

 

Hi, does anyone know how to add Google +1 to Actinic sites?

 

I might be mistaken but Actinic sites seem to be just html/javascript template sites so you should be able to get a web developer/coder or try yourself to just insert the Google plus 1 javascript code snippet into your site where u would like it, same as adding google analytics code to your html (well sort of)

 

@Karolwf yes the plus 1 button is worth having on your site, but dont just rely on it by itself, use it with facebook like button and tweet buttons to get an overall effect. The plus 1 button is Googles way of measuring the importance of your site and (even though they say it is testing and has not been implemented) and directly effect your rankings in the Google search engine. I have tested this with buying a large amount of plus 1's and sending it to a new site and imo it did help my rankings in the serp's...

Google +1 button on your website gets Likes from your users which is useful from Google's perspective as it will increase the quality of the website and also the domain authority of your website which will help is to rank higher also increase the traffic.

 

I have done only 1 SEO function this week. I have added a Google +1 button to each products. I was hoping to improve my lsiting but have dropped half a page on my main keyword listings!
