Here i just want a discussion about "How Google+ helps in increasing serp of any website?" because i read many articles on different blogs and every body talks about facebook likes and google+ and most of the people prefer Google+.

 

Hi dude, Nice Qus.......... But the Google+ are use only for to get population of your site you can know how mach popular your site from Google+.

 

Google+ might be easier, but Facebook likes are more common.

 

I am not much aware of Google+ i really would like to know more.

 

Getting +1s from Google+ really help a site in getting better search engine rankings.

 

No the answer is not unless your getting like thousands of hits. IT sucks! Google has jacked everyone off a bit hard on this + thing. I would not worry about it. Stubble is more important lol

 

Google+ is Google's new Social Media site. Google +1's are someting different. Google +1's can be found in the SERPS (mostly in the sponsored search section) and on websites where the google +1 button is located on the page. for websites it's google's version of a facebook like or a tweet retweet.

 

I think G+ (Google social network) works similar with Facebook, they are both excellent in marketing a business and increasing website traffic. However, Google +1 is the one that can raise your rank depending on how many +1s you get.

 

I for one use the both facebook and google +. Facebook for the traffic in short therm and google + for the long therm.
I don't have to build 1000's of backlinks to get a better ranking.

Google says +1's don't affect general search results yet, but they're looking into how it could do that in the future. Which means it will be a factor helping your site increase its position in serps sooner or later and you should already start collecting it for your website.

Google is all about the the user experience! If I type in make money online, then I should get some website talking about make money online! Google want's your info to be relevant to what the person is looking for! So I want worry to much about like and + but it want hurt!

If you are trying to get better placements in Google, I think Google+ matters more than Google will let us know. It is known that while Facebook likes does not show up in Google results, Google still uses Facebook api and calculates how popular your site is in sosial media and the placements also get higher. I've actually noticed this with facebook in a way that one of my site is not promoted any other way than facebook likes and twitter links. I've managed to get many high competive keywords to show up in top 100 results, which is not very good placement in the end but it proves my point that social media can get higher placements.

So in the end, Google+ will matter definately a lot in site's credibility in Google's eyes. You should not use just Google+ votes but build many kind of links and promote in other social media too.

 

Google+ is good but Facebook has more fans and users...But as Google+ is making it's market it seems to me like it will take Facebook position.....

 

Google + is new launched service to compete facebook. This is just for evaluating the site's popularity by voting and it is possible that it improve some of keywords visibility in search engine rankings.

 

The problem is that if you are signed into Google you will now find your search results are skewed with sites that you have Google plused showing higher positions than if you are not logged into Google, not sure what will be the longer term effect.
