That is a great point you bring up. In general, free traffic is more "bum" and takes longer to drive whereas paid traffic is much more quick but of course not free. So there is a tradeoff.

In general I always suggest people start with free traffic to learn the basics (even if you have the capital). Once you are comfortable with how things work, then decide if you want ot migrate to paid traffic or not!
