I was monitoring what happen to some websites like eHow after panda? and I want to know what did they made wrong to get panalized for

    http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/www.ehow.com

I mean if websites with such huge cash flow and SEO budget can't escape panda how will the small ones do? my question is what was wrong with eHow in your opinion that made it bad in the panda eyes?

It was found after installing Panda filter in Google, many sites from highly known to newly launched, all found a drop in ranking as well as traffic.. This was mainly because of cheap and duplicate contents...

You get a lot of spammers on Ehow. I don't get on there much. The content isn't that great, poorly written. Anyone can write anything and publish it.

Does that mean that Panda is now harming sites that are on point in terms of seo? if that's the case then i think Google should re evaluate the importance of panda and make it right.

Let's face it folks - if you are writing content with the main intent to rank high, it isn't natural written. On the other hand, if you are an authority on the subject mater and the writing style really is natural. The authority is what Google is looking for. We can tell when someone rights an article for the search engines VS. writing an article for the end user. Also, if you want to really rank high for your content, I advice you read up on creating content silos.

I got too much trouble with this current panda update. One of my site ranking was downgraded from PR 5 to 3. As a result I have lost too many real visitors of my sites. I had more than 2000 visitors each day, now its only 600+ visitors. I am very shocked and frustrated also.

from my analysis Google panda depends on the survey report of last few years. think that they have nominated some of their executives to manually analyze the performance of the most popular sites which provide Do follow back links. its not a hard job. because there are not a huge number of this type of sites/ directories. after viewing a few articles in these directories they can easily take decision. and after these report they make the Panda filter. i don't know how. but i think they have followed this type of process.

It seems some genuine sites are being targetted, so I don't think Panda's latest version is free from bugs yet
