Starting SEO

I have just started my own web hosting website. How do I get views etc? I have only had 1 small order at the moment. How can I get ranked highly etc and be accepting a few orders a day?

You are in the right place to learn my friend. You either have a lot of reading to do here and then rolling up your sleeves and working or you need to hire someone to help you. SEO takes a lot of dedication and hard work.

Do SEO and SMO. Read a little about SEO and start doing it. It is very important. Then do SMO or Hire somebody for doing it.

 

Check the level of competition before doing anything. This is very important because you will surely competing against the big dogs in SERP for your main keyword.

 

Web hosting for seo is kinda tougher since it is in a competitive niche. But try to find some long tail keywords and try to rank for it... But I think one of the best thing you could do is join forums like DP and place your site in your signature, this would definitely increase traffic to your site.

 

It would take a long time to do SEO for a web hosting business when it comes to the short tail keywords because that is a very competitive niche. Best thing to do is to offer your services lower than your competitors and go for paid advertising like AdWords.
