Suggestion eBook Section

The eBook section of the forum (not the marketplace) is being inflated with a ridiculous amount of reselling products and other crap collections. I suggest you to also apply the user made product rule on the eBook section.

Probably would be easier to just remove the section.

Hard to police when we can't even see what they are selling.

To be honest, I personally highly detest the new marketplace, there are no benefits of using it, it also supports scamming as we aren't able to do any pre-cautions regarding the user or the product. The forum is more friendly where you are able to discuss anything freely. Now if you're worried about a user being non-deliverable on the forum, that's another thing and that is something that can be remedied easily by a few restrictions. :) Check the fellow marketers on WF and you'll know what I mean.

eBooks in general are rather pointless IMO. I have yet to ever see one worth reading, much less paying for. So the underlying issue is it's just not something I have any interest in wasting my time manually policing.

If you have an *actual* suggestion (one that doesn't involve something like me reading eBooks and doing something stupid like reviewing them), we will always listen.

I concur but at the same time there are still people providing valuable products. My thoughts were to improve the section and consequently attract more quality providers.

I don't get what you don't get. There are still such people but they have faded a bit because of the huge amount of crap being offered.

You can't agree with Shawn that there are no ebooks worth reading and at the same time say that they are "valuable products". It is a contradiction.

Ok, there is nothing but crap in that section. A lot of threads have "WSO" and "Warrior Forum" in the content, which means the author is crap and he is selling crap.

I suggest you closing that forum, it's attracting scammers, or setting a high fixed fee per listing.
