    I wouldn't worry too much about comments. If you get traffic the comments will come soon enough.

    Try reading other blogs and take the time to comment on them. You will find that a lot of blog owners will then click on your blog and leave you a comment in return. Plus if you comment on blogs in the same niche as you you may also get a backlink (depending on the blogs policies). What's the name of your blog? Can we see it?

    Add the commenluv plugin and every spammer in the world will suddenly find you. They search for it.

    Next take those comments and edit them as you see fit. Serves em right for spamming right?

    Make sure you set your discussion settings.

    There you go... that's the easy way to get a lot of comments... assuming you blog is already indexed.

    Then you need to put some effort in and comment on other people's blogs. Unless you are ranking high for your keyword no-one will find your site or comment.

    The easiest way to get comments is making questions about the topic of your post. Ask for their opinion in a sutil way. People will answer you.
