Hi,Im currently developing a new version of a website and I have used javascript links e.g. document.location='page.php';Do search engines see these as links are do they not see them as a link? Thanks.
It's not just about search engines. Some companies and individuals block JS (general or white/black listed). Do not use JS instead of HTML if it's not necessary.
Well, it's always a good idea to have text links to all your main pages in the footer of all your HTML pages - this way, you can keep javascript stuff you have.
If your site contains elements that aren't crawlable by search engines (such as rich media files other than Flash, JavaScript, or images), you shouldn't provide cloaked content to search engines. Javascript is useless.
