Google+ vs. Facebook

I do not know much about Google+. That said, what do you all think of Google+ and how do you think it compares to Facebook as a social platform. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each and how do you envision them competing in the future? Hopefully we can start an informative and constructive argument here.

 

Facebook is more reliable and popular in my opinion

 

Google+ will never get as much activity as facebook not in a million years

Both are social networking platform and best at their position. But Facebook has much more user and popularity, because it is older than Google+...it is matter of long time for Google+ if it want to compete with Facebook.

Facebook has got a lot of negative press lately while Google+ is left in the dark for sometimes now. I think more geeks will seek Google but others might not find it that useful for now.

 

Google+ is the new social networking site by Google which is giving tough competition to 6 years old Facebook. This healthy social competition between both social networking sites is landing users much improved features. Both of them are good in their own ways but Facebook is more accepted amongst users.

I think Facebook is the most popular social network nowadays. I use it and I like it very much. Recently I created an account also in Google+. I liked it, too. It has many new and good features that can be useful. But I now I am not using it because of a simple matter------not all of my friends use it, and I can't make them do it. So to stay connected to them I continue using Facebook.

I think due to the widespread reach of Google and the fact that we all use it for so much it is only a matter of time before we all cross over. Google+ got 25 million users in 1 month and it took facebook nearly 3 years to get this amount, that exponential growth rate must have Fb scared a little.
I prefer Fb but am open to Google+ especially want to see how it evolves and what new features they will come up with to rival Fb. Oh and one of the most prolific users of Google+ is Mark Zuckerberg, market research I guess

 

I have tried Google plus but did not like it because I am happy with facebook. You will always like which is familiar to you.

 

After day by day google+ will get more Popularity...................

 

But everyone is now used to facebook. As long as they keep their simple design and not become another myspace then everyone will still use Facebook

Google+ will take time to grow up (to be popular) actually, nowadays face book is the best platform to others.

 

Everything starts with a unique idea. Facebook is the largest social networking site as of the moment. But as time pass by, new ideas will rise. I think Google+ is one them. It will certainly take time for Google+ to grow. Well let's just grab some updates. =)
