Hi, I need a notebook which do not have wireless connection possibility.

It can have classic ethernet (internet access via old fashioned cable), but no wifi, bluetooth, irda, 3G or other wireless connection capability.

    Is there any?

It can be slow, older, form China, India, whatever... but it cannot have wireless abilities to connect ot internet etc. I want to install there some gnu system and emacs for writing notes.

    Is there something like that?

And if there is anything without ethernet card that will be even better.

Thanks for any link to such laptop machine.

    Regards

Thanks for your response. I need it only for work. I need a gnu system and emacs on it, nothing else.

Any advice where can I buy such a machine? I prefer new computer, however if there is no manufacturer who sell laptops without wi-fi and bluetooth, I will probably buy a used one.

Why not just buy a old laptop (pre WiFi/etc) on eBay? What about an old Portege or a Satellite?
Why does it have to be GNU/no wireless? Where do you work, in a plane full of hippies? :D :)

I prefer an e-shop instead of ebay.

I just want a free software where I can study the code. mac os or windows are closed source operating systems.

Do you know about some e-shops where I can still buy old computers?

Of course I can use google or bing :).

I will probably try some hackers forums too. Maybe I find more answers there.

Unless you want an old laptop, or one custom-built (like Dell will do for you), just turn wireless off. (By law there has to be a switch to do this on every laptop). You can even remove the wifi card if you don't want it in there.

Most laptops have the ability to turn 'off' wireless settings in BIOS.
