This question is asked so many times here in DP, anyway a white hat seo is the legal way of seo..using orginal content in blog/website, avoiding excess keyword ..While a blackhat tactic is the method of cheating search engines.this involve keyword stufing, content copyrighting, buying excessive backlinks..etc..Hope you got the idea..now google it you can find more info..

White hat method is standard and safe other hand black hat method is not good for any website when you submit your websit url just one site more and more it means black hat as a result google band your site in a few weeks or month.

 

To say frankly "Black Hat" techniques are to make some quick bucks (but may or maynot be chosen for a longterm). whereas whitehat seo is a bit time taking but it will be for long term..
