which is better php or asp

    I want to try to get a better job in software development. So in the current market demand which platform will be the best ASP.net or PHP? Please suggest me.

    ASP.NET for sure. Better pay, and that laguage has been developed with design, unlike PHP. I also recomment looking into MVC framework and ENtitty Framework.

    Yes, Dot Net is more in demand today. PHP is also necessary but when you compare both, Dot Net has an edge over PHP.

    I love php. I think php is easy but I have also read at some places that now ASP.NET has given good competition to it.
