I think i am the only one who has a different opinion, i think you can re-use your content on other blog of yours. To remove the duplicacy issue, add the rel=cannonical tag in your current blog. That way you would be able to tell Google that original content is at other URL. But this way you would not be getting any ranking for your new blog post.

rel=canonical is a good way to do it. But if you are looking at getting traffic from the existing content then spare a few minutes on each article and re-phrase them manually and then do a quick copyscape premium check and post it. Won't hurt and also gives you another chance to improve your on page optimization.

Never publish the same content again. You can rather have a new version of the same text with some changes , modifications, additional text etc and then published as a separate, new article, not as a copy and paste article.

When you make a blog post, you can recycle this same exact information in many different way article, email, blog post. When you make to your blog, that great because someone can see everything you've written all in one place.

Duplication plays a vital role in making your content a spam. So do avoid re-submitting.

Consensus is pretty clear here I guess, it's been hammered home.
But I wonder, if you took off the old blog then after a while (say a month), it should get de-indexed, then you can republish your articles on your new blogs.

Why not get rid of your other blogs since they don't really have any traffic? Or do a 301 redirect for your content to your the same content on your new website, that way you pass PR and no duplicate content penalty :).

[TD="width: 1790"]If you'll going to use the same content then it will be considered as duplicate into your site. It may harm your site perhaps and get lower rankings in Search Engine as well.

I wouldn't even consider using duplicate content, your will be penalized for it and your serps will most likely drop. You can always see if your unique content is to similar to others as well by using copyscape, I've used it for a while now.
